ALL VEHICLES MUST BE EQUIPPED WITH THE FOLLOWING ITEMS-
  • An operable 2kg fire extinguisher with a current service sticker, from any recognized safety organization. It must be mounted securely within easy reach of the driver/co-driver at all times
  • A comprehensive first-aid kit
  • A suitable spare wheel/tyre, and the tools necessary to change it
  • A full sized shovel, with a fixed handle
  • Suitable recovery points at both front and rear
  • A suitable recovery rope/strap, minimum length 6 metres


    • ALL WINCH EQUIPPED VEHICLES MUST ALSO CARRY THE FOLLOWING-
  • Tree strop
  • Stamped shackles
  • A winch cable 'parachute', minimum size 900mm x 500mm (for steel cables only)
  • Winching gloves in good condition


    • Failure to carry any of the above will lead to your vehicle being denied entry to this event

    ENTRY FEE: €170/VEHICLE (full event), €90/VEHICLE/DAY

    THE EVENT
    All events organised by Munster 4x4 are social and pleasure events only. Drivers are required to drive with due care for themselves, their passengers and fellow participants.
    No driver is required to drive all or any part of the trails and does so entirely at their own risk.

    DISCLAIMER AND DECLARATION
    In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and my being permitted to take part in this event, I agree to save harmless and to keep indemnified the landowner, Munster 4x4 and their respective officials from any claims, costs, expenses and demands in respect of death, injury, loss of or damage to the person or property of myself, my drivers or passengers howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my entry to or my taking part in this event.
    I declare that the use of the vehicle, hereby entered and participating in this event is covered by insurance as required by the Road Traffic Acts which is valid for such parts of this event which shall take place on the trails set out by the organisers. Furthermore, the drivers nominated to drive are insured to drive under my policy. I have informed my insurance company that my vehicle will be driven off-road, and I have declared to them any special equipment fitted to my vehicle such as winches and recovery equipment.
